Public BBQ

Coledale Beach is a nice little beach with an interesting topography of rocks and cliffs. It offers a BBQ area, tables, and toilet facilities, making it suitable for a day out at the beach. There is also a camping reserve nearby. Parking spaces are limited, so arriving early is recommended. The beach is patrolled by lifeguards and is generally not too crowded. Nearby attractions include Coledale Rock Pool and cafes within easy reach.

You should first check with Wollongong council about the rules and restrictions.

Generally, it is permissible to utilize your own gas BBQ, provided it remains under continuous supervision. However, the usage of Charcoal BBQ's is typically restricted, with the exception of parks equipped with designated charcoal disposal bins.
